Welcome to the Blue River Chalet, a charming classic A-frame chalet in a peaceful, rustic setting.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll feel all of your stress and worries melting away as you walk across the little bridge over the creek toward the house. The faint sound of wind in the spruce and aspen trees, the whirring call of the hummingbirds and if the creek is running the sound of water trickling over the rocks welcome you to your quaint A-frame accommodation.

There might even be a moose or two waiting to welcome your arrival!

Inside you’ll find a comfortable living area with sleeper sofa, TV with cable & streaming apps, dining table with 4 chairs and fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy all of the cool original accents and touches that have been preserved by the owner during the recent renovation.

On the main level you’ll find a bedroom with a queen bed along with a full bathroom.

There is also a washer/dryer combo in the chalet.

Climb up the ladder to the loft area and you’ll find two twin platform beds as well as another bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a half bathroom in the loft. (Be aware that the ladder to the loft is steep but there is a handrail to hold onto as you go up and down.)

Out front is a large deck with a grill and seating where you can enjoy the serene surroundings.

NOTE: A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during inclement winter weather.

The owner of the chalet lives nearby so is available if you should need any assistance.

HOUSE RULES:

We would welcome your reservation if:

•You are over the age of 25 years & are willing to provide a copy of your valid ID
•You are willing to sign a copy of our rental agreement which will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed
•You are not a smoker
•You do not want to bring a pet
•Your party does not consist of more than 6 people

CANCELLATION POLICY:

A taxable cancellation fee will be charged for every cancellation in order to reimburse the property owner for expenses he/she would be out-of-pocket for your canceled booking. The total amount of the cancellation fee is the sum of the items described below:

•10% of the amount of rent only
•The total amount of credit card processing fees the owner has paid on your booking payments
•Tax applied to cancellation fee

If applicable, refunds will be issued as follows:

•Up to 60 days before arrival, guest receives 100% of the payment less the taxable cancellation fee
•Up to 30 days before arrival, guest receives 50% of the payment less the taxable cancellation fee
•No refunds within 30 days.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety percent (90.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
